Macrium awarded UK’s Best Workplaces™ recognition!

'Manchester, 26/04/23 – Macrium has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ (2023) today by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.

Our Health and Wellbeing policy is one of the reasons our company ranked 52 out of 100 entries in the small organisations category. We also scored highly in areas such as pay fairness, job satisfaction and work-life balance which is why employees love working for Macrium. Last year, Macrium gained a Great Place to Work accreditation and more recently, ranked 10th on the list of Best Workplaces for Wellbeing.

“It isn't lip-service - this company genuinely cares about employees. They offer opportunities to learn and improve, support during times of personal stress, and do everything they can to ensure each individual feels safe and valued at work. It genuinely is the best place I've ever worked.”- Macrium employee.

Nick Sills, CEO and Founder of Macrium says, “At Macrium Software, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset. We take great pride in fostering a supportive and positive working environment, where each individual can thrive and reach their full potential. We believe that by investing in our employees' professional and personal development, we can achieve the highest levels of success and innovation as a company. As a team, we are dedicated to creating a culture that values collaboration, creativity, and mutual respect, and we are committed to providing our employees with the resources they need to excel both in and outside of the workplace.”

“As the global authority on workplace culture, our mission at Great Place to Work® has always been to build a better world by helping organisations become a great place to work for all. We strongly believe in the notion of ‘better for business, better for people, better for the world,” said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK.

“Best Workplaces™ consistently put people first – not just in terms of looking out for their own employees but also by caring for and supporting their surrounding community and environment. We’re incredibly proud to recognise the very best ‘For All’ organisations committed to equity and unfaltering in ensuring that all employees are empowered to deliver the right strategic solutions to ever-changing business opportunities and challenges.”

A great workplace is more than lavish perks, fancy parties and amazing benefits. While those elements are present in many Best Workplace™ organisations, at its core a great workplace is about the level of trust that employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs; and the extent to which they experience camaraderie with their colleagues.

Great Place to Work® performed rigorous evaluations of hundreds of employee survey responses alongside Culture Audit™ submissions from leaders at each company to create the 2023 UK's Best Workplaces™ list. They then used these data insights to benchmark the effectiveness of companies' employee value propositions against the culture their employees actually experience.

Those businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.

“Lack of politics, engagement at all levels. Importance of ethical operations.”- Employee comment from Trust Index™ survey.
