Fancy a slap?

Phew! What a morning! I’m sat here at IP Expo Manchester surrounded by visitors and feeling rather pleased with how it’s going.

This is the first year that IP Expo has hit Manchester and the first time Macrium has exhibited at a show. IP Expo must be thrilled with the visitors as we really haven’t stopped chatting to delegates all morning.

Stephen Macpherson’s presentation “The Spanner in your IT Toolkit” covered the importance of having an effective disaster recovery solution in place. The theatre was packed and in fact standing room only! Stephen talked through the role of the lonely administrator and how Macrium help make their lives a lot easier with a feature rich solution with rapid restore capabilities. Stephen also demonstrated viBoot, which we currently have in beta, which instantly virtualizes a back up image using hyper-v.

It’s been fantastic to meet so many of our customers and hear all the success stories, where Macrium have helped recover vital data and memories. We’ve also enjoyed ‘slapping’ some visitors with our special memory sticks!
